The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. The SDGs were set up in September 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030. The JTB Hawaii Group is making company-wide efforts to contribute to the realization of this Possible Development Goals.
JTB Hawaii Group will continue to seek actions that contribute to environmental conservation and introduce the latest technology in order to minimize the burden to the environment. We will work with local authorities and communities to renew and plan our cities so as to foster community cohesion and to stimulate innovation and employment.
We will continue our efforts to expand communication across ethnic groups of all ages, provide opportunities for mutual understanding and learning foreign culture, and create a large and multiple layers of goodwill between Japan and Hawaii, as well as the Pacific Rim countries. By creating these opportunities, we strive to create a world that spreads smiles across the world.
