Tachibana Enterprises started as a small business in the lobby of the Queen Kapiolani Hotel in 1974 specializing in golf outings. Since then, we have expanded our services to providing wholesale golf packages to Travel Agencies, direct to consumer experiences including booking tee times, providing shared and private transfers, rent-a-car options, omiyage/specialized gift services, and private guided golf excursions. We also offer a call center specializing in Japanese Customer Services. As we have grown, we have built trusted relationships with our partners to provide unparalleled services to both our domestic and international guests.
The COVID19 pandemic has changed the way the world works, which has driven us to adjust the way we operate. Our Golf and Tours team previously focused solely on the Japanese market, since the pandemic we have expanded our reach to the international and U.S. Mainland markets by forming new partnerships within the tourism and hospitality industry. The Japanese Answering Service team was previously solely a call center and has expanded its services to offer live message to better service to our clients in changing times. Together, we are diligently working together to diversify our offerings and move Tachibana into the new era of post pandemic hospitality.
I joined Tachibana Enterprises in 2014, and currently serve as the Director of Operations, Sales, and Marketing. I oversee the Golf and Tours team, Japanese Answering Services, Nippon Rent-a-Car, My Gift Hawaii, and the Guide Services team. The pandemic was not easy, like many businesses we experienced challenges and with my guidance and positivity we were able to adapt and change as needed to grow. I believe that there is a perfect balance between hard work and fun and have a magnificent team with the same attitude. Together we face challenges head-on and believe that challenges and change give us the opportunity to improve ourselves and learn new ways to achieve our goals. My hope is that we continue to grow, adapt, and exceed service standards expected by our clients and partners.
