Rejuvenating trade winds, lush island greenery and a multi-ethnic mixing pot. That’s Hawaii! That’s Aloha! At JTB Hawaii, we relentlessly pursue innovative and unique ways for our guests to experience the treasures of Paradise.
JTB opened its Honolulu offices nearly half a century ago in 1964. It was the first Japanese travel company to establish a presence in the Islands. With approximately 220 employees and offices on Oahu and the Big Island, JTB has since evolved into a full-fledged Destination Management Company (DMC), offering a global profile of travelers an extensive array of travel, tour and ground transportation services as well as golf tours, merchandise, Web publishing services, and more. JTB Hawaii is also a responsible and proactive corporate citizen.
JTB sits on the board of the Honolulu Festival Foundation. Since its inauguration in 1995, the Honolulu Festival has evolved into the largest local festival in the Hawaiian Islands, attracting some 80,000 spectators each year. The Festival is a pioneering example of how JTB seeks to develop groundbreaking ways for travelers to experience Hawaii and cultivate meaningful ties with its residents. In the transportation sector, JTB also services the Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaii’s largest visitor attraction, under an exclusive arrangement to provide transportation services.
